The Beatryce Prophecy
Once upon a time, there was a child who did not know who she was, or where she came from. She knew only that her name was Beatryce.
Found at a monastery by Brother Edik, the girl was curled up in an animal pen with a goat named Answelica. Though feared by many for her sharp teeth, hard head, and wily ways, Answelica remarkably chose to be the protector of this child. Which was fortunate for Beatryce, as she was being hunted by the king's men, bringing danger upon them all.
Our heroine will need to find a great deal of courage before our tale is ended. And oh, what a tale it is...
